1988-1995

Entrepreneurship Development Stage

From 1988 to 1995, Tellhow experienced an eight-year period of individual entrepreneurship for survival. In this process, the Company was engaged in computer software development and system integration services, as well as sales of professional power supplies, office equipment, computer room air conditioners and other related products based on the application of information technology and the “technology + service” business model. As a result, Tellhow gained competitive advantage in these areas in the market of Jiangxi Province, established its leading position in the information industry in Jiangxi Province, and realized the dream of becoming the most competitive and influential IT company in Jiangxi Province. After achieving the phased success in the entrepreneurial development, the Company’s organizational system evolved from a “boat structure” to a “fleet structure”.
1996-2003

Industrial Development Stage

Since 1996, the Company explored the development of high-tech industry with the “technology + capital” business model, actively joining Tsinghua University Enterprise Group and introducing a number of state-owned capital strategic investments to help scale up the Company’s operation rapidly, and the organizational system was adjusted from the “fleet structure” to the “vessel structure”. At the same time, the Company actively participated in the reform of state-owned enterprises, and re-integrated its market, culture and resources by incorporating new technologies and capital and introducing new incentive and restraining mechanisms. At this stage, the Company formed such backbone industries as computers and software, generators and power supplies, and electrics for intelligent buildings, and shaped its value centered on “commitment fulfillment”, thus resulting in an average annual growth rate of more than 50% in the business scale and performance, and realizing the new dream of promoting the industrial scale by the listing of the Company and building an industrial park with international standards.
2004-

Brand Development Stage

Constant innovation in the concept, mechanism and technology has injected endless motivation into the development of the Company, enabling it to achieve leap-forward development and be fully affirmed by state leaders and all walks of life. In 2004, the Company adjusted its business model to “technology + brand”. In 2006, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce identified and announced “Tellhow” as a “Famous Trademark of China”; the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine identified “Tellhow Generator” as a “China Top-Brand Product”. These two honors marked a new height of the branding of the Company and showed the good social image and broad market recognition of the Company’s brand and products. At the same time, the Company has actively participated in the international industrial division, and laid a solid foundation for its accelerated development of the international market through the joint venture and cooperation with the world’s top 500 companies such as ABB, Panasonic Electric Works and Mitsui. At this stage, people at Tellhow put forward the development vision that “We hope and will work hard to make Tellhow a successful brand in China and all over the world”.

Wishes for Tellhow

To celebrate the Company’s 30th anniversary, a series of “Wishes for Tellhow” activities were launched on May 4. The first event was held in Tellhow Hengyang, followed by others in Longyan Fujian, Guiyang, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai and Nanchang, etc. “Wishes for Tellhow” activities include four parts, i.e. the Tellhow Forum Tour, the Sixth Employee Skills Competition, the 30th Anniversary Picture Exhibition and emergency drill.

On July 28-29, the 2018 Tellhow Forum themed “New Era, New Look and New Action” jointly sponsored by Tellhow and Jiangxi Daily was solemnly held in the auditorium of Binjiang Hotel affiliated to Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, attracting more than 2,500 participants. On July 29, around the topic of “create the future with intelligence and act in a responsible manner”, the Forum invited well-known industrial experts as keynote speakers, including Han Yishun, Executive Vice President of Institute for Data Science, Tsinghua University; Cheng Chengqi, Vice President of Institute for Advance Technology, Peking University, and Executive Deputy Director of Joint Research Center for Satellite Navigation, the Ministry of Education; Ma Mingxing, Assistant to President of Tianjin Research Institute for Advanced Equipment, Tsinghua University; and Wang Yibin, Deputy Director of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of Industry and Information Technology. In addition, Wang Hui, President of Jiangxi Daily, and Huang Daifang, Chairman of the Board of Tellhow Group, attended the forum and delivered a speech. All the guests discussed new opportunities for the economic transformation of Jiangxi.
